Vogue Fashion’s Night Out LONDON

Who doesn’t love Fashion’s Night Out? From free champagne to 20% discounts, manicure parties to indie DJ’s, Vogue FNO is one of the coolest events to take place in London. I was lucky enough to get the opportunity to actually shop through the event and add some key items to my wardrobe. As I was strolling around Regent Street with my fashion partner-in-crime a.k.a. my mom, looking for a cozy but chic winter coat, we happened to go to Liberty; one of the coolest department stores on this side of the globe. We were losing ourselves between vintage Chanel pieces and old gowns when we heard the sound of music. We went downstairs where Becca Dudley was playing the hottest hits when suddenly, the announcement was made. Lucinda Chambers, a.k.a. British Vogue Fashion Director who’s been working…

Simplicity: The Grey Jumper

Greetings earthlings, marsians, cats of coffee pots! As a sucker for simplicity and the wonders of basics, I think it’s finally time to write this post.  I believe that in order to look chic and trendy, you don’t necessarily have to be all dolled up in designer clothes. However, you will need to find key pieces a.k.a. wardrobe diamonds that will fashionize each outfit. So what are these key pieces and how do you find them? I believe that since the weathers getting cooler day by day you need a simple jumper that will suit basically everything. Since grey is one of my favorite colors and it’s such a simple color, I choose grey. You can stick with any jumper in a simple color (brown, black, white, grey..etc.) and combine them with basically anything..…

Help! The Leaves Are Falling!

-As a farewell to summer, here is an illustrated scene from one of my favourite movies- Post soundtrack only for you (click!) I write this post all tucked up in blankets, just a few minutes after sipping my first Pumpkin Spice Latte of the year, from the South Bank of London accompanied by the heavenly charismatic voice of Frank Sinatra. I hear the shattering sound of the leaves outside, almost as if they can’t wait to spread the news; the very news that the birds have been postponing to announce -while they were building a warmer nest. This feeling of coziness and the warmth of the blankets feel like a long lost lover that if real, would never let go ever again. As much as I don’t know how other fellows would react to this very important announcement that…

What’s In My Bag? // Travel Edition

I’m all set. With 4 luggages full of cozy winter clothes and dorm room decorations, I’m ready to go! Besides my excitement, that leaves only one thing to take care of, to prepare my backpack! I’ve recently got myself this Fjallraven Kanken Bag (the colour is “Putty)” and I’m ready to fill it with all sorts of goodies: My Moleskine Travel Journal & 18 Month Journal I’m a total Moleskine addict. I believe that I own more than 10 notebooks, all with different purposes. My travel journal is more like a diary of things I see and the ways I feel when I’m abroad, so I believe that it will be useful when I’m living by myself in London. I have tried other journals besides Moleskine but none was able to keep me organised as…

Something New & Somewhere Else #Diary

I have 3 days until I hop on a plane that will take me -not that far away- but clearly out of my comfort zone. I will be starting university in London and as I only lived in one country my whole life, I can’t help but feel a bit nervous. I have visited many many countries and even though I can say that traveling is my #1 hobby, this time I won’t be coming back to my own bed after a week full of traveling and exploring. Instead, I’ll be walking through Covent Garden with my soy latte and probably running between campuses and classes. I think you’ve learned by now that I am so very excited to finally live in my ultimate favorite city and hopefully be successful.  People, family friends and…
