Black Is A Way Of Life

Dear readers On The Moon, I don’t get why people associate black with sadness or death. Though my dear plant Bill recently died (I had named him Bill so that I could say I “Killed Bill”), I’m not wearing black because I’m in mourning. I think black is a statement, it’s a way of life. I always talk about transforming my closet into a more minimalist one, reducing the amount of patterns and colour and adding more essential pieces in grey, white and black. I don’t know if I’ll ever manage, but I can always try. Here you go: On days where I feel really lazy, I just put on something black. Snacks, blankets, action! If, like me, you were watching the Oscars 2k16 from outside the US, you can understand the state I’m in right now with only 4 hours of sleep combined with lectures. And honestly, anything less warm would look absurd. I don’t get it when people go out in thin layers to look “stylish”. I think dressing according to the season is very important and you won’t look stylish if you’re shivering. Go…

Simplicity: The White Shirt

I’m pretty sure that you know by now that I’m a sucker for all things simple. From a single flower in the field to a simple grey jumper, I love simplicity. As I was reading about capsule wardrobes last week, I started thinking about my clothes. I can’t really say that I have a capsule wardrobe since I do enjoy patterns and vibrant colours from time to time, but obviously, I do have some key pieces that I wouldn’t be able to dress without. Though I just stated that I like colours, my wardrobe is quite monotonous consisting mostly of white, grey, black and dark green. If your essentials are in those colours, you can spice things up with vibrant items without actually making an effort. To come to todays topic, I feel like everyone…
